The 2019 Boston Anarchist Bookfair was held November 9-10. It was originally to be held at Boston University. Without any prior warning to us or the student group hosting the bookfair, Boston University administration just before the event demanded an unspecified “security” fee in the thousands of dollars if we wanted to hold the bookfair at BU.
Thankfully our friends and comrades came through and we found last-minute alternative spaces!
A truncated bookfair was held: vendor tables on Saturday, November 9 at the Democracy Center and workshops on Sunday, November 10 at the Make Shift Boston.
